   On the 26th of July2024, a very important event happened virtually which strive to set a mark on the social media landscape of Africans in the Diaspora especially,and Africa at large.The SOAD TV a YouTube like channel seek to tell the black stories by blacks,an opportunity over the centuries which has eluded us as blacks in the continent and in particular and people of African descent.

Mr Melvin Brown,the president of the State of the African Diaspora Parliament Tv channel head quarters in Panama reiterated that, his office and the leadership Of State of the diaspora Parliament realized that in order to have high level information flowing between the African Continent and the Diaspora, a driving tool and different mechanism needed to be in place to organize, create content, communicate and make public  the work of Members of the State of the African Diaspora Parliament,Presidents of National Delegations and Regional Vice Presidents, as well as general news, advertise sport events, activities, and culture.Also among other things the center has several objectives

a. Communication

b. Technology Development

c. Capacity Building (Training)

d. Create jobs

e. Have a vehicle for organizing and bridging the Continent close with the Diaspora.

At the lunch also was  Mr Dike Sam the technical Director who introduced the communication team during the press encounter”We have a team coordinated by

HRH Princess Palesa Kambule, President of Parliament National Delegation in South Africa, in charge of Communication,given the various competent of these team all present hope for a successful media operations.

The speed of misinformation and propaganda in this social media era can over ran any culture and nations without an alternative media outlet,it was against these background that SOAD PARLIAMENT LAUNCHED A TV CHANNEL to address the situation.

Given the  significance of the launch various organizations and dignitaries participated,notable among the organizations and individuals are World college of Mayors’ , an international organizations with its registration office in California United States,CEO Alhaji Alhassan Abdallah Musah,among the participants are Peter Asemenyo Founder and leader. Of Shebre Musical and Dance Group based in Ghana (cultural Group) and other members of SOAD.

Finally Mr Melvin Brown  thanks all participants and congratulated the whole team for their mervellous work and also entreat them never to relent in their endeavor to strengthen the SOAD TV.
