Jonina Ladies Humiliate Great Mawuena Ladies With 16 Goals amid the Greater Accra Women's League

Great Mawuena Ladies FC's chances of playing in the Greater Accra Women's League hit a snag on Saturday as they lost 16 - 0 to Jonina Ladies FC  at the Madina AstroTurf.

Both teams started the game in an awesome and energetic manner, however, Jonina Ladies opened the scoring point in the 5th minute through Stella Abrokwah.

Great Mawuena FC was granted the opportunity to take a lead in the game, however, Jonina Ladies FC did not give a space to defeat on the field of play. Jonina Ladies used this game to continue their unbeaten run when they were playing with Great Mawuena. 

Great Mawuena pressed for a goal scoring opportunity but not break through the gallant defensive wall of Jonina Ladies FC. Jonina continued to punish them in the second half and still took the lead. Great Mawuena could not revive their winning ability team and ended up loosing to Joina Ladies FC after they scored 16 goals.
