The MP for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, Hon. Dr. Adomako Kissi, has launched Nationwide Fire Academy to train 200 youths as Fire Service Advocates

The Member of Parliament for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, Hon. Dr. Adomako Kissi, has brought to light an amazing initiative, to ease social burden and to support the youth in his constituency.
Dr. Adomako Kissi has established an academy, dubbed The Nationwide Fire Academy ( NAFA), to serve as a protective measure to fight fire outbreak in the various communities.
As the name depicts, Nationwide Fire Academy aims at training the youth to equip them with the necessary skills, needed in fighting any kind of fire outbreak when the need be.
Speaking in an interview, Dr Adomako made mentioned of the fact that, the registered youth would receive massive training beyond just fighting fire.
According to him, undergoing this training does not mean the individual works with fire service. However. The training to be given to them by the fire service personnel would make them vigilant, skillful and equipped to be able to face some situations even in the absence of the fire service to not cause any tragedy.
He classifed these trainees as advocates for Fire Service who would help make some measures put in place to curb fire outbreaks more effective.
There have been many recorded cases of fire outbreaks in the country, which has caused destruction of people's properties. Others lost their precious lives amid the incident whereas some people also lost everything they have labored for.
An example of such event is June 3rd Disaster. The unforgettable moment that has come to stay with Ghanaians. There was a fire outbreak which happened together with a heavy rainfall at Kwame Nkrumah Circle. Many people lost their lives due to the fire and others also lost most of their properties.
Considering all these is why Dr. Adomako Kissi, the MP of Anyaa Sowutuom constituency, has set the pace to implement such great work to fight fire outbreaks and to provide employment opportunities for the youth.
