Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom professionally known as Eno Barony is one of the finest top Ghanaian Female rappers and songwriters, born on October 30, 1991, to Reverend Abraham Nyame Adom and Mrs. Rebecca Adom in Tema, Ghana.

 Eno started her basic school at Shallom preparatory school, continued her lower primary education at Cambridge Academy, finished her Junior High School at Methodist J.H.S and pursued her senior secondary education at Methodist Day Secondary School in Tema and continued to achieve her tertiary education at Kumasi Polytechnic. "Wats Ma Name", her debut single and the remix of the track "Tonga" by Joey B ft Sarkodie was released in 2014 that lifted her into the limelight. 

 

MUSIC CAREER

 Eno's remix of the 'Tonga' track in 2014 caught wider attention and received numerous commercial airplay even tho she released other singles. "Megye wo boy" was later released in 2015 in collaboration with Abrewa Nana and in that same 2015 year, the rapper lost her mother. After several months of mourning, she broke the silence with a hip hop song titled "The Best" with multiple award-winning Togolese artists and Brand Ambassador for Togocel, Mic Flames. In 2016 she recorded "Daawa" with Shatta Wale and in the same year in collaboration with Kwaw Kese, she released "GARI". She also collaborated on two other singles, "Touch the Body" with Stonebwoy, and "King of Queens" with Medikal. In 2017, she released a song titled "Juice Me" followed by another single with Ebony Reigns, titled "Obiaa Ba Ny3".

Eno Barony is a Rapper and a songwriter. She is known for her hits like "Do something", "D33d3w" and "Bakaji". Her first album was released in 2018 titled Yaa Asantewaa.

 

 AWARDS & RECOGNITION

In 2014, she has nominated for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards first edition of the unsung category. Though known for rapping, she executed the Save Mama Today project with Stay Jay, FlowKing Stone, D Cryme, and other notable artists. She performed alongside Popcaan and Jah Vinci at the Ghana Music Week held at the Accra Sports Stadium. She also headlined the Closeup festival alongside Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie. She was nominated for the Jigwe awards. 

Her collaboration with Togo’s McGee Mic Flammez got a nomination for Best Hip-hop video at 4Syte Music Video Awards. She campaigned for the best female rappers awards category and same year got another nomination for Jigwe awards Best New Act. She performed at the Ghana Music Week Festival for the third time in a row in 2015. She performed at the Ghana DJ Awards and at the Ghana Freedom Concert (S Concert). That same year she headlined the Joy FM Old School reunion alongside Stonebwoy and participated in Adom FM's Temafest in 2016 alongside other artists. She was made the music commissioner for Ghana Meets Naija in 2017
