=Dancehall act Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale is calling out the Ghana Music Industry players to put extra efforts in improving the industry.
In a viral video spotted on Instagram, the artist, rather upset, spelt out his dissatisfaction at the Ghanaian music industry.
In the video, Shatta Wale pointed out the industry’s inability to ensure musicians’ royalties are paid them. This he said proves the industry’s systems are not working.
He went on to fume at the government's decision to appoint the chairman of the Ghana Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku Mantey as a deputy minister of the Tourism Arts and Culture.
Shatta Wale expressed that the entertainment industry will witness a second world war if the government chooses Mark Okraku Mantey as the Deputy Minister for Creative Arts.
It was in the news recently that the government is considering the ace music producer as the Deputy Minister for the creative arts industry to restructure things and make the industry worth living for the industry players.
According to him, Mark Okraku does not have any idea to discover new things in the industry, adding that he cannot even download an application on iPhone talkless of handling the creative art industry.
Making more claims in the video, angry Shatta Wale said that there will be a massive war in the industry if what the media is speculating materializes and he will be the one e to lead the youth to fight for that change.
He added again that if the rumors on social media come to pass, he won’t hesitate to purchase a form and stand as a presidential candidate and form a ‘Byforce Movement’ party.
