Ghana's high commissioner to South Africa, Boateng Ayisi, was confronted by his friend who is a member of the NDC Alhaji Saani Mohammed

Ghana's high commissioner to South Africa, Boateng Ayisi, was confronted by his friend who is a member of the opposing party, the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Saani Mohammed in the Ashanti region.
Their over 40years friendship nearly came to null when a heated argument boiled up between these two experienced politicians on Monday 14th December on Akoma Fm Kumasi for the GhanaAkoma morning show.
The argument was set in motion when Alhaji Saani Mohammed stated that the decision made by the Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensa, is biased and a fraudulent act for ruling in favor of the New Patriotic Party.
The argument was highly heated that it took the producer, host of the show, and general manager of the radio station to separate the tension which almost ended them up in a fight.
The show had to pause for a commercial break as they tried to separate the fight between them.
George Ayisi-Boateng cited, “if you are emotionally attached to your religion, tribe, ethnic and political leaning to the point that truth and justice becomes a secondary consideration, your education is useless"-by the late Dr. Chuba Okadigbo, during the debate.
After the quote, the former DCE for Atwima Nwabiagya, Nana Asare Bediako, phoned in to the show and contributed expressing disappointment in the High Commissioner’s submission.
Alhaji Saani Mohammed, who all along had harbored emotions against his old friend’s submissions, landed abusive words which also pushed the High Commissioner into an annoyed posture.
The post-election debate, which was supposed to be based on issues, results, and the facts, nearly ended with a blow to blow encounter and verbal exchange.
