The Government of India announced on Tuesday the ban on the use of 43 other Chinese applications, among which AliExpress and Lalamove stand out, bringing the number of Chinese-origin 'apps' banned in the country to 267.
At the end of June, the Government of India announced a ban on 59 apps from China, including the music social network TikTok and Xiaomi apps, for privacy and national security reasons.
A month later, the Indian government banned the use of another 47 Chinese applications that are considered to be "clones" of previously banned 'apps', and in early September announced the ban on another 118, including PUBG Mobile.

Now, the Ministry of Electronics and Technology of India has announced through a statement the prohibition of another 43 Chinese applications, among which AliExpress and Lalamove stand out, although the list also includes some dating 'apps'.
The Ministry has indicated that the prohibition of these applications is because they are " detrimental to the sovereignty and integrity of India, the defence of India, the security of the State and the public order".
