About 60 men and women have been trapped below a collapsed church in Akyem Batabi in the Eastern Region, eyewitnesses have said.
The Church of Prosperity owned with the aid of Prophet Nakoa Isaac is stated to have been uncompleted for the previous 28 years.
According to eyewitnesses, congregants had assembled for a church program when the construction collapsed.
Speaking to Adom News, a congregant stated they had come to quick and pray for the founder of the Church considering they had acquired facts that he was once now not well.
When requested if Prophet Akuwa Isaac used to be in the construction with them, the congregant spoke back in the poor declaring that the Head Pastor was once in his residence shut by.
An eye witness to the incident explained that:
“We heard that snake had invaded the premises so we called some of the men around to chase it out when all of a sudden we saw the building collapse,”
According to the Adom News Eastern Regional Correspondent, though human beings are nonetheless trapped in the building, some have been in a position to get away with a variety of stages of injuries.
The Ghana Fire Service used to be at the scene to assist victims who had been trapped.
