Sad News: Sir John of The NPP Is Dead

Ghanaian politician Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John of NPP has been reported dead, after a short ailment from covid-19 in Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital

Ghanaian lawyer and politician " Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (politically known as Sir John) has been reported dead, following the exposure of COVID-19 which made him experience serious impairment of breathing patterns in the ICU of Kor-Le-Bu Teaching hospital.

According to the information reaching Thetrendsghana.com, the CEO of Forestry Commission was detained in the hospital on the 25th of June, after which he was rushed to the ICU to stabilize and monitor him due to his inability to breath properly.

The sudden demise of this great man has been a blow to both countries and the New Patriotic Party as he is well known for his hard work and offering his best for the NPP. 

Since the news on his death was released to the public, its been ranking and fast-spreading on all social media platforms where some Ghanaians have put forward their heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family.

He was the Former NPP General Secretary before he was appointed as the CEO of the Forestry Commission before his death.

We have indeed lost a great personality but we pray that he rest well.
