A Remanded Convict Cut-Off His Manhood In Police Cells In Volta Region

A remanded 35 years old prisoner has cut off his penis with a sharp object in Abor Police Cells after he was arrested over a murder case in Keta.

Abor Police Command in the municipality of Keta has reported a case of a convict who committed a suicide act by severing off his manhood with a sharp object in the police cells after he was remanded according to charges of a murder case.

Thomas Agbezuke, a 35 years old accused, engaged himself in this deadly act on Sunday, around 11:30 pm in the absence of the police workers on duty.

Speaking with MyNewsGH.com, the Chief Inspector of Abor police command, Asirfi Yeboah, indicated that, he got to know of the incident after he was telephoned by the police officer on duty"  Corporal Emmanuel Kyei" to be informed about the said convict, cutting off his penis with a sharp object leading to severe hemorrhage.

According to him, the victim was rushed to Abor Sacred Heart hospital, to receive treatment.

Surprisingly, the police officers explained that the sharp object used in severing off his manhood and the manhood that was taken off was not found in the area of the incident. Hence, a thorough investigation has been undertaken to help divulge all that transpired, for justice.
