The husband of the New Patriotic Party's Deputy Communications Officer Afia Akoto, named Chief Biney, has voiced out his thoughts on the mismanagement and unproductive work of Ghana's Special Prosecutor '' Martin Amidu.''

The National Organizer of the NDC, in an interview with Kwame Afrifa Mensah, elaborated on the fact that, there has been a high increment in corruption, under the leadership of Martin Amidu, which has revealed how incompetent and effortless his work is. Hence, he supported the idea that his office should be transformed into isolation centers for COVID-19 victims.

“I heard someone suggesting that the Government of the day should convert the special prosecutor’s office to an isolation centre for COVID-19 patients and I think I agree with whoever said that. Right under his watch there is corruption going on there and he can’t curb it”.

he added

 “When the Special Prosecutor was appointed, we all believed in him, we thought he is the saviour for Ghana’s corruption. We saw the king of jubilation from the NPP members, they were hailing Amidu [Citizen Vigilante]."

he further stated

He outlined some corrupt activities that have occurred under his leadership and have not been investigated for justice to take place. He made mention of 200 fuel diversion cases which has cost the country a sum of 7 million cedis an approved deal of 510 million dollars Ameri thermal plant.
