VGMA has slated The Covd-19 Heroes Virtual Concert for sunda6, 17th May, 2020 which would live on tv3 and social media from 9:30 pm to 11 pm.
The Ghana Vodafone Music Awards Foundation is set to hold a virtual concert titled " Covid-19 Heroes Virtual Concert" for our coronavirus front line works and to help raise funds to the Covid-19 National Trust fund" to motivate our health workers to continue with their good work to save their people.
Ever since the outbreak of novel coronavirus, there have been frontline health workers, who have put forth their love for the country and their beloved citizens, to fight this deadly virus, despite the risks involved. In view of this, some musicians in Ghana, have held virtual concerts, in order to entertain their people and to give them hope amid this outbreak.
To add up to their good work, the Vodafone Ghana Music Award crew have decided to embark on the same path, to entertain their people, and to also show gratitude, towards the front-liners who are helping our country Ghana to combat the disease with " Covid-19 Heroes virtual Concert".
This has been planned by Ghana Music Awards Foundation with the goal of giving more hope and courage to the people, to aid in the increment of the Covid-19 fundraising project and to also urge Ghanaians to adhere to the preventive measures put in place especially wearing of facial mask, to prevent the spread of the disease.

Music is a force for good and on Sunday 17th May, the Ghana Music Awards Foundation will use music to rally national applause for our Covid-19 HEROES; the frontline health workers. The program is also meant to inspire hope and to lend a voice to the ‘Wear A Mask’ and Anti- stigmatization Campaigns.
