Policewoman Severely Gets Injured Amid Clash Between NPP And NDC Supporters In Winneaba

Policewoman seriously gets injured during a clash between supporters of NPP Effutu Member of Parliament " Mr. Afenyo Markin" and "Dr. James Kofi."

The skirmish amid the fans of NPP Effutu Member of Parliament "  Mr. Afenyo Markin" and "Dr. James Kofi." National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate in Winneaba has caused one of the policewomen who set in to help settle disputes to be severely injured in the process.

This crash happened on Wednesday at the courtroom of winneba as the presiding judge was ruling a case regarding allegations made by the Effutu Mp against the parliamentary candidate of the NDC.

According to the information gathered, the two parties were arranged to come in different batches in order to not cause any commotion in the ruling process.

The whole issue began after the parliamentary candidate of the NDC " Dr. James" who was the first to start the proceedings came out to brief his people on how the court proceedings went.

In the process, the opposing party which is the fans of the NPP Effutu MP, flounced his speech to his people, which caused a clash between the parties.

It was deadly as they involved weapons and other assets which could lead to serious sequelae.

Considering the danger involved in the clash, the policemen and women set in to halt the misunderstanding and to settle issues amicably. As a result, one policewoman became seriously injured after which she was sent to the Winneba Specialist and Trauma hospital for treatment.
