The king of the Sark natives " Sarkodie" has quash fans assertion that, his new song titled ''Sub Zero'' was released to diss lost but found rapper Asem and Ball J.
He stated that, his new song was released to guide people who would want to have beefs with him and to also get his attention on their controversies.
In an interview on TV3, he said “If you want a diss song you need to humble yourself, come let’s sit down and have a conversation. Show respect…come with your team, let’s find something, sort out so that we can really do it well.”
Sarkodie on April 6, released a track titled ''Sub Zero''. This track got ghanaians talking as they presumed and considered it as a diss song to respond to Ball J and rapper Asem’s freestyles.
However, Sarkodie’s line that asked arstiste to pay certain amounts of money according to their career level overshadowed Asem’s response.
“This is not a diss song,” he stressed adding, “I am telling you that if you want a diss song this is what is going to happen.”
In an interview, he explained that, he is not interested in the attention that comes with diss songs and also stressed on the fact that, having feud with people would not be of any importance to his career.
“I’m not saying no one is doing well, you could really have bars but it’s just not worth the back and forth. That’s what I am saying,” Sarkodie said.
He said that some of the songs people consider as diss songs are those that he does for his own thing and that, he has only two diss tracks but refused to mention those two songs.
