Novel coronavirus cases is on the rise as there have been a high increment in the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ghana.
According to the updates of the Ghana Health Service, 271 more cases have been confirmed positive, which has made the total cases hit above 1500 on Sunday.
However, one death case has also been recorded making the total death cases of COVID-19, 11, where as the recovery cases has also increased to 155 from 134.
According to the report given, Oti Region recorded 13 new coronavirus cases two days ago, which has increased the region's total cases to 14. It has also been the first region to reports new cases after the lockdown was lifted by the government.
Greater Accra Region, still has the largest recording cases of 1,347, Greater Kumasi has 69 cases recorded, Eastern has recorded 57, Northern Region has total cases of 13 and Volta Region has 10 cases recorded.
Central region has recorded 17 cases, Upper West has 8 cases, Upper East has 8 Cases, North East has 2 cases and Western and Western North has one case each.
