Nine new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Greater Accra Region of  Ghana, summing the total number of confirmed cases up to 204.

It was stated on the website of The Ghana Health Service that, four of the new cases have no travel history but are contacts of confirmed cases.

One of the victims is said to have returned to Ghana from Beijing, China within the past 14 days.

The number of regions reporting cases remains five – Greater Accra, Ashanti, Northern, Upper West and Eastern.

Among all the regions,Greater Accra has the highest infections. The Northern region has 10, Ashanti, 9, Upper West, 1 and Eastern, 1.
