Charter house has  finally released the nominees list of  the 21st edition of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, after enforcing Shatta- Stonebwoy ban.

These nominees were selected after ploughing through precisely 632 submissions and reviewing the music industry's work in 2019.

Kuame Eugene and Sarkodie had their names repeated again in the category of " Artist of the year", even though they were nominated in the same category last year.

However, Shatta Wale and Sarkodie were not nominated because of the Shatta - Stonebwoy ban.

J Derobie was nominated in Raggae/Dancehall  song of the year and also made it to Raggae/Dancehall artist of the year, with his song " Poverty".

A new category called " International collaboration of the year" was introduced by Charter house and this focuses on songs with foreign artists featured on them.

This list was announced on February 29 on some selected radio stations and other social media handles. 21 categories were announced at that particular and the rest were announced at La Beach Hotel around 7pm. Categories announced at the party includes Unsung Artiste of the year, Vodafone Most Popular Song of the year, Best international collaboration of the year and Artiste of the year.
